About MWRHL

Welcome to MWRHL

We are an organization providing in-line roller hockey and skating/hockey training programs to the youth of Monroe Woodbury. Founded in 1997, our league has grown from its roots on the basketball courts at Smith Clove Park to the Roller Hockey Rink at Smith Clove Park. We are a recreational league, open to players of all ages and abilities that strongly encourages its players to practice good sportsmanship and show respect for the officiating and coaching staff as well as to that of their opponents. We hold exciting games that are fun to play and watch. The Board of Governers, league coordinators, and coaches are all volunteers whose goal is to stress the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, integrity and respect for authority, and to promote the game of inline hockey in the area.

It's all About the Kids

At MWRHL we take pride in the fact that we judge our success by the fun we see the kids having on the rink. Our focus is on the kids and making sure they enjoy the game of in-line hockey. Roller hockey is a fast paced exciting sport and provides the kids with not only great exercise but a great team sport that requires them to be in shape, make decisions on the rink and learn to work as a team. MWRHL has a long standing reputation as a great team of kids, parents, and volunteers. Since our founding we have remained committed to running and building this league for the kids. The work we do today to further the success of our league will go a long way in shaping the lives of these kids. With your help, leadership and commitment we are proud to say that MWRHL will be an exciting, rewarding experience for all participants.
