Learn to skate will meet every Sunday @ 12:30 unless otherwise noted, same for Mini Mites @ 1:00 PM & the 8u division from 1:30 to 2:30.  Registration for these instructional divisions will remain open!

Learn to Skate Info

Learn to Skate (LTS) is a program designed for the child or adult with little to zero roller blading experience.  The program is primarily focussed for younger children ages four to eight years of age, yet there has been adults who have joined the program also.

FAQS:

1.  How long is each session?

Answer:  Generally the sessions are a half hour per week.

2.  When are the sessions held?

Answer:  Sunday's at 12:30 pm.

3.  What equipment is needed?

Answer:   Each MWRHL participant is personally responsible to wear equipment for all games, warm-ups, and practices.

Recommended equipment for all players is: hip pads, padded hockey pants, protective cup or pelvic protector, chest protection, shoulder pads, and throat protection.
 
Mandatory equipment for all players is: H.E.C.C approved helmet with helmet strap properly fastened, H.E.C.C. approved full face mask with chin cup, colored non clear internal mouth guard which must cover the remaining teeth of one jaw, elbow pads, gloves designed for hockey, and knee/shin pads designed for hockey.

Players on the players' and penalty bench must wear the protective helmet/face mask while in the bench area.
